1970 Bart Starr #30

$60.00

SGC 6: #7002055 - Excellent to Near Mint

Bart Starr was known for his clutch performances in big games. He had a remarkable ability to rise to the occasion and deliver in critical moments. One of his most memorable moments came in the famous "Ice Bowl" game in the 1967 NFL Championship against the Dallas Cowboys at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The game earned its iconic nickname due to the extreme cold weather conditions that were experienced during the contest (minus 15 degrees Fahrenheit or -26 degrees Celsius).

After falling behind the Cowboys by 14 points, the Packers, led by quarterback Bart Starr, mounted a comeback and tied the game 14-14 by the fourth quarter. After one last dramatic drive down the field, and with just 16 seconds left in the game, Bart Starr called a quarterback sneak from the one yard line. Despite the difficult field conditions, he managed to push his way into the end zone for a touchdown.

The Ice Bowl is considered one of the most famous and memorable games in NFL history. It epitomizes the spirit and determination of the players who battled through adverse conditions to compete at the highest level.
